Take part in the 113 year-old tradition of riding a trolley to the Washington County Fair! The Pennsylvania Trolley Museum’s trolleys will drop riders off at the entrance to the Fairgrounds.

Dates and Times

The Fair runs Saturday, August 10 through Saturday, August 17. Trolley shuttle service runs 10 AM to 11 PM. Trolleys depart approximately every 10 to 15 minutes. The Pennsylvania Trolley Museum is open each day of the fair from 10 AM to 4 PM, with the exception of Monday August 12 when the museum is open 10 AM to 7 PM.

New in 2024, the Museum now has 3 park-and-ride lots. The trolley takes riders to the Fairgrounds Trolley Platform which is conveniently situated at the front entrance to the Fair and features a covered canopy to shelter riders during inclement weather.

Tickets

Those interested in riding the trolley to the Fair may purchase a ticket for $5 per person round trip and children aged 2 and under are free. Tickets are valid the entire day of purchase for unlimited rides until 11 PM. This fee does not include admission to the Fair. Tickets may be purchased at the park-and-ride lots or inside the museum (from 10 AM to 4 PM only). Family ticket packs of 8 tickets will be available – details TBA. Pennsylvania Trolley Museum memberships include rides to the Fair.

Just $5 will get you access to our exhibits (during regular visiting hours only) as well as unlimited trolley rides to and from the Fair (from 10am to 11pm). This means that park-and-ride passengers can visit the museum using their $5 park-and-ride ticket during museum hours – arrive early to visit the museum!
