DESCRIPTION:You are invited to join us for Sensory Friendly Hours at the Pennsylvania Trolley Museum! \nExplore the Pennsylvania Trolley Museum in a sensory modified setting with quieter streetcars\, lowered exhibit sounds\, and soft lighting. Advanced registration is not required for this event. Tickets will be available at our regular admission prices. \n\nAdults $20\nSeniors (ages 62+) $19\nChildren (ages 3-18) $15\nToddler (ages 2 and under) Free\nMembers: Free\n\nAvailable Resources\nIn addition\, silicone bracelets will be made available in both adult and child sizes to assist with non-verbal communication\, particularly for individuals who have autism\, sensory processing difficulties\, or anxiety. The wristbands are designed to provide a visual indicator of comfort levels and engagement preferences. \n\nRed bracelets indicate that the wearer may be feeling overwhelmed or anxious and does not wish to engage in any conversation. They may wish to explore the museum at their own pace.\nYellow bracelets indicate that the wearer may feel uncertain about interactions. They may prefer limited engagement while navigating the museum at their own pace.\nGreen bracelets indicate that the wearer is comfortable and open to interaction with others.\n\nFurthermore\, guests will have access to complimentary Sensory Bags. These bags\, which may be requested at the front desk located in the museum store\, include noise-canceling headphones\, sunglasses\, fidget toys\, sensory items\, and a sensory guide. A valid photo ID will be required for the loan\, which will be held by the museum until the sensory bag is returned. \n \nWith the help of the International Board of Credentialing and Continuing Education Standards\, PTM is pleased to provide Sensory Guides that can be used to help offer insight to guests on the sensory stimulation of different parts of the museum. These include touch\, taste\, sound\, sight\, and smell. This guide is available online. PTM’s Brick Club is designed for Homeschool students ages 6 – 14. Brick Club is for kids only! Parents\, you can drop your child off at the Ray Betler Classroom a few minutes before 10:30 AM and then pick them up promptly at 12:00 PM. \nWhat is Brick Club? Brick Club offers children positive\, meaningful social experiences in a fun\, playful\, and accepting environment. It’s great for children who enjoy building with LEGO® bricks. Brick Club is the perfect spot for children to have fun and make new friends while developing their communication skills\, building their confidence\, and working on their social and emotional well-being. \nEach Brick Club meeting includes one trolley ride! \n2026 Brick Club Themes\nJan. 22: Winter Wonderland\nBuild models or design creations such as snowmen\, icy castles\, penguins\, polar bears\, and more! \nFeb. 12: Around The World\nExplore exotic animals and their habitats\, from scorching hot deserts and tropical rainforests to the snowy tundra. \nMarch 5: Off To The Races\nWork together in small groups to build a wide variety of vehicles big and small\, or opt to try your hand at building the fastest or slowest Brick Mobile of them all. \nApril 9: April Showers\nDo you have what it takes to build and design a brick house that will keep everyone inside nice and dry during a sudden downpour? \nMay 14: May Flowers\nSpring is in full bloom! Build beautiful brick buds\, flowers\, and other plant models. \nSeptember 24: Downtown Adventures\nExplore models that capture the many different kinds of buildings\, restaurants\, and vehicles found in the big city. \nOctober 22: Howltober\nBuild models of nocturnal animals\, creepy crawly critters\, and things that go bump in the night. \nNovember 12: Field Day\nHit the field to design and play brick-inspired versions of football\, soccer\, hockey\, golf\, and more! \nDecember 10: Holly Jolly Ornaments\nCreate a unique and festive brick ornament and take it home! \n  \nWhere is Brick Club? Brick Club will be held at the Pennsylvania Trolley Museum\, located at 1 Electric Way\, Washington\, PA 15301. Trolley Tots is designed for early learners (children ages 2-5) and one accompanying adult to discover different types of transportation through sensory play\, stories\, crafts\, music\, and getting up-close with the vehicle of the month! Space is limited\, so advance purchase is recommended! DESCRIPTION:All new chills and thrills! \nOur historic ghost tour is returning for its second year!  Discover what sorts of spirits and specters might haunt our collection and then\, if you dare\, embark on a spooky streetcar ride through the forest.  Also\, try one of FireWhistle Brewing’s delicious concoctions! \nThis event will run on Friday\, October 16 and Saturday\, October 17\, 2026. \nSign up to be notified when tickets go on sale this summer.  Tickets will release to Museum Members 24 hours before the general public. \nThis event is recommended for ages 13+.  This is not a “scare”/haunted house event.  Returning visitors will delight in a whole new set of ghost stories unearthed from legend. \nPortions of this tour involve boarding and deboarding streetcars with steep steps.  Individuals who use wheelchairs or have other mobility limitations are welcome to join us for this night of ghostly fun and may indicate the accommodations they require on their registration form.

DESCRIPTION:You are invited to join us for Sensory Friendly Hours at the Pennsylvania Trolley Museum! \nExplore the Pennsylvania Trolley Museum in a sensory modified setting with quieter streetcars\, lowered exhibit sounds\, and soft lighting. Advanced registration is not required for this event. Tickets will be available at our regular admission prices. \n\nAdults $20\nSeniors (ages 62+) $19\nChildren (ages 3-18) $15\nToddler (ages 2 and under) Free\nMembers: Free\n\nAvailable Resources\nIn addition\, silicone bracelets will be made available in both adult and child sizes to assist with non-verbal communication\, particularly for individuals who have autism\, sensory processing difficulties\, or anxiety. The wristbands are designed to provide a visual indicator of comfort levels and engagement preferences. \n\nRed bracelets indicate that the wearer may be feeling overwhelmed or anxious and does not wish to engage in any conversation. They may wish to explore the museum at their own pace.\nYellow bracelets indicate that the wearer may feel uncertain about interactions. They may prefer limited engagement while navigating the museum at their own pace.\nGreen bracelets indicate that the wearer is comfortable and open to interaction with others.\n\nFurthermore\, guests will have access to complimentary Sensory Bags. These bags\, which may be requested at the front desk located in the museum store\, include noise-canceling headphones\, sunglasses\, fidget toys\, sensory items\, and a sensory guide. A valid photo ID will be required for the loan\, which will be held by the museum until the sensory bag is returned. \n \nWith the help of the International Board of Credentialing and Continuing Education Standards\, PTM is pleased to provide Sensory Guides that can be used to help offer insight to guests on the sensory stimulation of different parts of the museum. These include touch\, taste\, sound\, sight\, and smell. This guide is available online. Brick Club is the perfect spot for children to have fun and make new friends while developing their communication skills\, building their confidence\, and working on their social and emotional well-being. \nEach Brick Club meeting includes one trolley ride! \n2026 Brick Club Themes\nJan. 22: Winter Wonderland\nBuild models or design creations such as snowmen\, icy castles\, penguins\, polar bears\, and more! \nFeb. 12: Around The World\nExplore exotic animals and their habitats\, from scorching hot deserts and tropical rainforests to the snowy tundra. \nMarch 5: Off To The Races\nWork together in small groups to build a wide variety of vehicles big and small\, or opt to try your hand at building the fastest or slowest Brick Mobile of them all. \nApril 9: April Showers\nDo you have what it takes to build and design a brick house that will keep everyone inside nice and dry during a sudden downpour? \nMay 14: May Flowers\nSpring is in full bloom! Build beautiful brick buds\, flowers\, and other plant models. \nSeptember 24: Downtown Adventures\nExplore models that capture the many different kinds of buildings\, restaurants\, and vehicles found in the big city. \nOctober 22: Howltober\nBuild models of nocturnal animals\, creepy crawly critters\, and things that go bump in the night. \nNovember 12: Field Day\nHit the field to design and play brick-inspired versions of football\, soccer\, hockey\, golf\, and more! \nDecember 10: Holly Jolly Ornaments\nCreate a unique and festive brick ornament and take it home! \n  \nWhere is Brick Club? Brick Club will be held at the Pennsylvania Trolley Museum\, located at 1 Electric Way\, Washington\, PA 15301. Check-in at the Ray Betler Classroom. \nHow many children will be attending Brick Club? Brick Club is capped at a total of 24 students per session. \nHow much does Brick Club Cost? Brick Club costs $10 per child to participate. Trolley Tots is designed for early learners (children ages 2-5) and one accompanying adult to discover different types of transportation through sensory play\, stories\, crafts\, music\, and getting up-close with the vehicle of the month! Space is limited\, so advance purchase is recommended!
