Trolleyology: Meet Me Beneath Public Square: The Saga of Cleveland’s Subways

This presentation will address various plans to build a Cleveland subway. It will look at three distinct periods of time (Progressive Era, 1920s, 1950s) when planning reached a fairly advanced stage and the people of Cleveland voted on whether or not to go forward with construction.
