Happy Halloween from the Pennsylvania Trolley Museum! Each October, the Museum hosts two frighteningly fun events. First, at Pumpkin Patch Trolley, guests take a trolley ride through the autumn landscape to our freight car, where they can pick out a pumpkin of their own. Then, at Trick or Trolley, visitors can trick-or-treat among our historic collection at stations run by local businesses and organizations.
These good times would not be possible without our dedicated volunteers. Each year, PTM volunteers give over 30,000 hours of their time to the museum to make sure we stay running smoothly and our streetcars remain in shape. At our special events, one can see how our volunteers work to make every part of a museum visit a success. From operating cars, to greeting guests, to serving snacks, to handing out candy- there’s nothing that our volunteers don’t do!
Thank you to all our volunteers who helped with our fall special events this year, and thank you to all of our station hosts at Trick or Trolley! Check out the pictures below to see more of the fun.
