Take a Ride into the Past at the Pennsylvania Trolley Museum. Your visit will include a four mile round trip along our scenic track, a tour of the Trolley Display Building, self-guided exploration of our interactive exhibits, and so much more!
As of November 10, 2023, we are operating out of our new building at 1 Electric Way, Washington, PA, 15301.
Hours
10:00am to 4:00pm (last full experience begins at 3:00pm)
January-May: Thursday through Sunday**
June-August: Tuesday through Sunday
September-December: Friday through Sunday
Closed Mondays except Memorial Day, Labor Day, and during the Washington County Fair. Closed on Easter.
We finish our season after our Santa Trolley event and close the museum for the remainder of December. The museum is closed December 23, 2024-January 1, 2025.
**Please note that during winter months, we may not always be able to operate trolleys due to ice on the rails and overhead wire. We will keep our website and social media updated regarding weather concerns.

Tickets are available when you arrive at the museum. Advance tickets are currently not available for general admission.
Please note admission rates may vary for certain special events and programs. Some special events may sell out in advance.
** During the winter season, if we are able to open but unable to operate trolleys, we will discount admission by $5.
Please note that our hours and admission prices sometimes vary for events. Several of our events will have advance ticketing available. We encourage you to purchase event tickets ahead of time as many of these events sell out.
Directions
The Pennsylvania Trolley Museum is located roughly 28 miles south of Pittsburgh, PA and 3 miles north of Washington, PA. We are convenient to both I-70 and I-79 and just four miles from gaming at Meadows Racetrack & Casino and shopping at Tanger Outlets. Please consult Google Maps, Waze, or your GPS device to find the fastest route to the Museum.

Our museum welcomes all visitors, and we strive to provide accommodations for individuals in need of assistance.
Mobility concerns? While our museum is fully ADA compliant and wheelchair accessible, only certain streetcars are wheelchair accessible. If you are able to, please provide 24 hours advance notice of your planned visit in order to give our staff and volunteers time to prepare for your visit. Call 724-228-9256.

Parking
Visitor parking is always free at the Museum. Please do not leave valuables in your vehicle as we are not responsible for lost or stolen items while you are visiting.
