Visit us this summer! We're open Tuesday through Sunday, 10 AM to 4 PM!

All new chills and thrills!
Our historic ghost tour is returning for its second year! Explore our Trolley Display Building, where members of the Washington Community Theatre will tell tales of the spirits and specters that haunt our collection. Then, if you dare, embark on a spooky streetcar ride through the forest.
Before you go, try one of FireWhistle Brewing’s delicious concoctions and enjoy some good eats from Santello’s Food Truck. Also, unleash your inner monster with Face Paint Pittsburgh! Choose something spooky, stylish, or gruesome- face paint sessions are free with event admission!
This event will run on Friday, October 16 and Saturday, October 17, 2026.
Sign up to be notified when tickets go on sale this summer. Tickets will release to Museum Members 24 hours before the general public.
This event is recommended for ages 13+. This is not a “scare”/haunted house event. Returning visitors will delight in a whole new set of ghost stories unearthed from legend.
Portions of this tour involve boarding and deboarding streetcars with steep steps. Individuals who use wheelchairs or have other mobility limitations are welcome to join us for this night of ghostly fun and may indicate the accommodations that they require on their registration form.
Every participant must complete a Waiver & Release. You may bring a signed copy with you to the event, or you may sign a copy when you arrive. Participants under the age of 18 must have a Parent or Guardian sign the Waiver & Release for them.
Doors open at 6:00 PM. Please arrive at least 15 minutes before your tour time. Food and drink will be available for purchase from 6:00 PM to 11:00 PM.
