Journey to our pumpkin patch, where children can plant a magic seed of our special invention. Then, after another trolley ride through our beautiful fall scenery, the pumpkins will have magically grown to their full size! Children will also have the chance to decorate their mini-pumpkin before taking it home.
On Friday, October 9, we’re hosting Sensory Friendly Magic Pumpkin Trolley. Our first ride leaves at 11:30 AM, and our second ride leaves at 12:00 PM.
Accommodations such as dimmer lights and quieter sound, as well as a lower passenger count on the trolleys will help prevent overstimulation. Like always, passengers may borrow Sensory Friendly Bags equipped with fidget toys and noise-cancelling headphones. Additionally, our staff acting as trolley conductors and operators will have completed training on how to make visits as safe and enjoyable as possible for our neurodivergent visitors.
Please note that, on their journey, visitors will board 3 different trolleys. If there are wheelchair users in your party, please email mmeer@patrolley.org after purchasing your tickets, and we will make sure to have accessible trolleys waiting for you.
Other activities include children’s holiday games, complimentary refreshments, and opportunities to explore the interactive exhibits in our new Welcome & Education Center. Add to the fun by dressing up in your favorite costume!
Admission to the museum on these dates requires the purchase of special tickets which will go on sale in Summer 2026.
Magic Pumpkin Trolley will also be running on October 10-11 as well as October 16-18.
