Since our beginning, our Museum has relied on the passion of volunteers to keep the Trolley Era alive.  Today, our volunteer program- 230+ participants strong- continues its mission to inspire the next generation of innovators.

You’re invited to join us on February 21, 2026 for our Volunteer Open House, where you’ll get to:

• Meet our team!  Connect with our volunteers of all ages.
• Tour our volunteer-led restoration shop and see antique items from our transit archives.
• Learn how you can become a trolley operator, museum educator, trolley preservationist, and more!
• AND, for those 14 and older, practice operating a real trolley!

Those who register will receive free admission to the Museum on the day of the event.  All ages are welcome to attend!
