Dive into all five areas of STEAM with interactive activities, demos, and experiments at stations spread throughout the whole museum!
This first-ever of its kind event is geared towards students and their families. It is a family-friendly event designed to engage students in all five areas of STEAM: Science, Technology, Engineering, Art, and Math. Each station will be focused on one of these specific content areas and will have various hands-on interactive challenges, demonstrations, and experiments.
Science: Test anything and everything, including toy cars, coins, playdough, and even fruits and veggies to see what kinds of objects are conductive with the power of Makey Makey Technology and the Conductivity Tester 5000!
Technology: Explore how everything from robots to AI is changing the world of transit, then practice plotting out an automated transit route through a tiny town using Sphero Robots!
Engineering: Discover communication technology used throughout time, and dive into the nuts and bolts of how they work!
Art: Investigate color theory and patterns while getting messy with spin-art!
Math: 66, 4004, 1738 – what do those numbers mean and where do they come from? Find out on an exciting scavenger hunt through the Trolley Display Building!
Advanced tickets are NOT required. This event is included with general admission and is part of Remake Learning Days. Members receive free admission!
