Say goodbye to the dog days of summer by bringing your pooch to the Museum for National Dog Day!
Note: We’re celebrating TUESDAY, August 27 since we’re closed on National Dog Day’s actual date, August 26.
We ask that all dogs remain on a leash and are well behaved. You must also clean up after them while on Museum property.
The Chartiers-Houston Community Library will be hosting doggie story time at 11:00 AM and 11:30 AM!
The last trolley leaves at 3 PM. Regular admission prices for humans, but the pups are free (as long as we can spoil them with pets)!
Washington Area Humane Society will be on site from 10 AM to 2 PM with drink stations and dog treat goodie bags! Stop by their outreach table to chat about adoptions, volunteering, and fostering. Plus — sign up to win the pet raffle basket!
Dogs must pose no health risk to humans and have all appropriate licenses and immunizations. Please be sensitive to other visitors who may be uncomfortable around dogs.
