DESCRIPTION:You are invited to join us for Sensory Friendly Hours at the Pennsylvania Trolley Museum! \nExplore the Pennsylvania Trolley Museum in a sensory modified setting with quieter streetcars\, lowered exhibit sounds\, and soft lighting. Advanced registration is not required for this event. Tickets will be available at our regular admission prices. \n\nAdults $20\nSeniors (ages 62+) $19\nChildren (ages 3-18) $15\nToddler (ages 2 and under) Free\nMembers: Free\n\nAvailable Resources\nIn addition\, silicone bracelets will be made available in both adult and child sizes to assist with non-verbal communication\, particularly for individuals who have autism\, sensory processing difficulties\, or anxiety. The wristbands are designed to provide a visual indicator of comfort levels and engagement preferences. \n\nRed bracelets indicate that the wearer may be feeling overwhelmed or anxious and does not wish to engage in any conversation. They may wish to explore the museum at their own pace.\nYellow bracelets indicate that the wearer may feel uncertain about interactions. They may prefer limited engagement while navigating the museum at their own pace.\nGreen bracelets indicate that the wearer is comfortable and open to interaction with others.\n\nFurthermore\, guests will have access to complimentary Sensory Bags. These bags\, which may be requested at the front desk located in the museum store\, include noise-canceling headphones\, sunglasses\, fidget toys\, sensory items\, and a sensory guide. A valid photo ID will be required for the loan\, which will be held by the museum until the sensory bag is returned. \n \nWith the help of the International Board of Credentialing and Continuing Education Standards\, PTM is pleased to provide Sensory Guides that can be used to help offer insight to guests on the sensory stimulation of different parts of the museum. These include touch\, taste\, sound\, sight\, and smell. This guide is available online. DESCRIPTION:You are invited to join us for Sensory Friendly Hours at the Pennsylvania Trolley Museum! \nExplore the Pennsylvania Trolley Museum in a sensory modified setting with quieter streetcars\, lowered exhibit sounds\, and soft lighting. Advanced registration is not required for this event. Tickets will be available at our regular admission prices. \n\nAdults $20\nSeniors (ages 62+) $19\nChildren (ages 3-18) $15\nToddler (ages 2 and under) Free\nMembers: Free\n\nAvailable Resources\nIn addition\, silicone bracelets will be made available in both adult and child sizes to assist with non-verbal communication\, particularly for individuals who have autism\, sensory processing difficulties\, or anxiety. The wristbands are designed to provide a visual indicator of comfort levels and engagement preferences. \n\nRed bracelets indicate that the wearer may be feeling overwhelmed or anxious and does not wish to engage in any conversation. They may wish to explore the museum at their own pace.\nYellow bracelets indicate that the wearer may feel uncertain about interactions. They may prefer limited engagement while navigating the museum at their own pace.\nGreen bracelets indicate that the wearer is comfortable and open to interaction with others.\n\nFurthermore\, guests will have access to complimentary Sensory Bags. These bags\, which may be requested at the front desk located in the museum store\, include noise-canceling headphones\, sunglasses\, fidget toys\, sensory items\, and a sensory guide. A valid photo ID will be required for the loan\, which will be held by the museum until the sensory bag is returned. \n \nWith the help of the International Board of Credentialing and Continuing Education Standards\, PTM is pleased to provide Sensory Guides that can be used to help offer insight to guests on the sensory stimulation of different parts of the museum. These include touch\, taste\, sound\, sight\, and smell. This guide is available online. DESCRIPTION:All new chills and thrills! \nTickets go on sale early for Museum Members on Tuesday\, August 4 at 10 AM.  Members also receive a $5 discount on adult tickets.  Members\, check your email for a message on July 31 with instructions on how to get your tickets!  \nIf you’re not a Member\, become one today\, and immediately access your perks\, including this early ticket sale.  Email mmeer@patrolley.org after purchasing your membership\, and we’ll send you instructions on accessing the ticket sale. \nTickets go on sale to the general public on Wednesday\, August 5 at 10 AM. \n\nOur historic ghost tour is returning for its second year!   Join our spooky storytellers from the Washington Community Theater and discover what sorts of spirits and specters might haunt our collection.  Then\, if you dare\, embark on a spooky streetcar ride through the forest. \nBefore you go\, purchase a delicious concoction from FireWhistle Brewing and some good eats from Santello’s Food Truck.  Also\, unleash your inner monster with Face Paint Pittsburgh!  Choose something spooky\, stylish\, or gruesome- face paint sessions are free with event admission! Food and drink will be served until 11 PM. \nThis event will run on Friday\, October 16 and Saturday\, October 17\, 2026. \nThis event is recommended for ages 13+.  This is not a “scare”/haunted house event.  Returning visitors will delight in a whole new set of ghost stories unearthed from legend. Together\, your tour and trolley ride will be about 90 minutes long. \nPortions of this tour involve boarding and deboarding streetcars with steep steps.  Individuals who use wheelchairs or have other mobility limitations are welcome to join us and may note their limitations on their registration form so we can accommodate for them.  The spooky trolley ride that will conclude your evening is wheelchair accessible. \nEvery participant must complete a Waiver & Release.  You may bring a signed copy with you to the event\, or you may sign a copy when you arrive.  Participants under the age of 18 must have a Parent or Guardian sign the Waiver & Release for them. \nDoors open at 6:00 PM.  Please arrive at least 15 minutes before your tour time.  Food and drink will be available for purchase from 6:00 PM to 11:00 PM. \n\n		\n		\n			\n				\n			\n			\n				\n			\n			\n				\n			\n		\n\n
