AT THE PENNSYLVANIA TROLLEY MUSEUM

The colors of the leaves are beginning to change, which means the Pennsylvania Trolley Museum’s annual Pumpkin Patch Trolley is about to be underway.

  • Enjoy the fall season while riding on decorated trolleys!
  • The trolleys will take families to the Trolley Display building where they can tour the large collection of trolleys.
  • Children can select a pumpkin from the pumpkin patch and then take it to the events room where they will be able to decorate it.
  • There will be children’s games and complimentary refreshments.
  • Add to the fall fun by dressing up in your favorite costume.

WHEN:
Saturday & Sunday October 13-14, 20-21 and 27-28–10:00AM to 5:00PM
*The last trolley of the day will leave for the pumpkin patch at 4:00PM.*

PRICE:
$12 for adults
$10 for seniors (age 62+)
$10 for kids (ages1-15)
Children under 1 are free

*Each purchase of a child’s ticket includes a pumpkin; those who would like to purchase an additional pumpkin may do so for $2.50. This admission also includes tours of the museum and unlimited rides on the trolleys.*

NOTE: Due to construction there will be no Park and Ride service for the Arts and Crafts Christmas Festival.

Santa Trolley

Pennsylvania Trolley Museum’s stocking are hung by the trolleys with care with the knowledge that Santa Claus will soon be there! The merriest man himself will be visiting the Pennsylvania Trolley Museum during the annual Santa Trolley. Join the museum during November 23-25, December 1-2, 8-9 and 15-16 for this spectacular event that runs from 10AM-5PM with the last trolley departing at 4:00PM. Guests will have the opportunity to climb aboard a restored streetcar that will transport them around the museum’s 2 mile track.

• Santa will be happy to take pictures with visitors, so make sure you remember to bring your camera.

• Stop by the museum’s large Lionel toy train layout.

• In the museum’s Event Room, you will get to view the wonderful LEGO layout built by Steel City Lug, Pittsburgh Area’s Adult LEGO User Group.

• The holiday spirit will be all throughout the air and your bellies will be filled with complimentary hot chocolate and cookies.

• Make a holiday craft!

• Admission for Santa Trolley is

$12 for adults
$10 for seniors (62+)
$10 for children ages 1-15; children under 1 are free.

*This admission will include your trip on the Santa Trolley and the open exhibits. It also includes as many trips on the Yuletide shuttle. This event is very popular and we do strongly encourage advance ticket purchases be made online due to the limited seating. The tickets can be purchased on line at ShowClix.

Weather permitting (and Volunteer Crew availability) you may even get a chance to ride the NO Horse (Electric) Open Sleigh!

Trolleys & Toy Trains—Fridays

Trolleys and Toy Trains gives the Families an opportunity to take trolley rides, a tour and a chance to see our Lionel toy train layout.  While there you can also visit our gift shop all decked out for the holidays and full of those special rail related Gifts.

Trolleys and Toy Trains event will be Fridays, November 30, December 7 and 14.
Hours: 10am – 4pm.
Visitors of this event will be able to ride on our decorated trolleys and view the Lionel toy train layout.

Admission:
$10 for adults
$9 for seniors and
$7 for children ages 3-15; children under 3 are free.
