Temporary Detour ! ! ! July 19 – July 28

Beginning Friday, July 19, 2019 and running through Sunday, July 28, North Main Street will be closed near the Museum affecting all visitors to the Museum.

This detour will be in place to allow replacement of a short bridge on North Main Street, just beyond its intersection with McClane Farm Road.

The map below shows the best detour for accessing PTM from all points North-South-East and West

Visitors coming from the City of Washington can follow North Main Street to reach the Museum.

To follow this detour proceed west on Race Track Road from Interstate 79 Exit 41.

At the Pike Street intersection proceed straight ahead to Allison Hollow Road.

Follow Allison Hollow Road for 2 miles to the T intersection with Old Hickory Ridge Road and Turn Left.

Follow Old Hickory Ridge Road to North Main Street and Turn Right.

The Museum is 200 feet on the Left.

Museum Hours

The museum is open 6 days a week during June, July and August.

Tuesday-Sunday 10AM – 4PM (last tour 3PM)

with Trolley Rides and Tours also available – July 4 and August 12 (during Washington County Fair.

Scout Merit Badge Workshop

Boy Scout and Girl Scout Days  at the Pennsylvania Trolley Museum June 8, 2019 All youth, including homeschoolers & honors, ages 11-18 years, are welcome to participate in any class

Choose from classes following the badge requirements for:
•Boy Scout Electricity: 9 AM – Noon,  or 1 PM – 4 PM
•Girl Scout Financial Literacy-series: All Day, 9 AM – 4 PM
•Boy Scout Personal Management (Eagle): All Day, 9 AM – 4 PM
•Boy Scout Railroading: 9 AM – Noon, or 1 PM – 4 PM
•Free:  Boy Scout Reading and/or Scholarship  no class session, all pre/post req, bring or send your paperwork

Railroading, Electricity, and Personal Management are STEAM curriculum (Science, Technology, Engineering, Art, & Math) Boy Scouts may earn Reading and or Scholarship by submitting ALL requirements to the counselor (Mr. Herrington) Curriculum follows the Boy Scout and/or Girl Scout badge requirements, but all youth ages 11-18 may attend any badge To Register: Visit www.
