2019 Santa Trolley at the Pennsylvania Trolley Museum

October 23, 2019 By vsm

SORRY, THIS EVENT IS OFFICIALLY SOLD OUT!

Pennsylvania Trolley Museum’s stockings are hung by the trolleys with care and with the knowledge that Santa Claus will soon be there! The merriest man himself will be visiting the Pennsylvania Trolley Museum during their annual Santa Trolley.  Visit the Museum during November 29, 30 and December 1, 7-8, and 14-15 for this spectacular event that runs from 9AM-5PM with the last trolley departing at 4:00PM. Guests will have the opportunity to climb aboard a restored streetcar that will transport them around the museum’s 2 mile track.

~Santa will be happy to have visitors take his picture, so make sure you remember to bring your camera.

~Stop by the museum’s large Lionel toy train layout.

~In the museum’s Event Room, you will get to view the wonderful LEGO layout built by Steel City Lug, Pittsburgh Area’s Adult LEGO User Group.

~The holiday spirit will be all throughout the air and your bellies will be filled with complimentary hot chocolate and cookies.

~Make a holiday craft!

~Admission for the Santa Trolley is $12 for adults, $10 for seniors (62+) and $10 for children ages 1-15; children under 1 are free.

*This admission will include your trip on the Santa Trolley and the open exhibits. It also includes a trip on the Yuletide shuttle. This event is very popular and we STRONGLY SUGGEST advance ticket purchases be made on-line due to the limited seating. A link to ShowClix will be provided once tickets are on sale!

**Please arrive approximately 10-15 minutes prior to your boarding time. You must collect your boarding pass at the ticket table. Trolleys leave exactly when your allotted ticket time is!

***Due to limited capacity on each trolley, we will be unable to accommodate late arrivals.

***Those purchasing tickets for the last hour of the day may want to arrive earlier in order to see our train layout before boarding their trolley. Museum store and train display close at 5:00pm.

***During the month of December, the museum will also be hosting their Trolleys and Toy Trains event. It will be held on Friday December 6 & 13 from 10am – 4pm with the last trolley departing at 3:00 PM. Visitors of this event will be able to ride on our decorated trolleys and to view the Lionel toy train layout. Admission for Trolleys and Toy Trains is $10 for adults, $9 for seniors and $7 for children ages 3-15; children under 3 are free.***
