Availability:

Weekends from April thru early–October. Times are 11:30 a.m. and 2:30 p.m.
Party Information: Start off the party with a private ride on a decorated trolley and a tour of the carbarn. Groups then may do their own activities—open presents, eat food, and/or play games in the picnic area. Party groups have private access to the picnic area. We have 13, six foot picnic tables (no covered shelter), restrooms, garbage cans, and electricity. If the weather is bad the group may use the indoor education room. Paper conductor hats are provided for the children. Party groups may also tour the museum building, watch the video, shop in the store, and go for a second trolley ride (with the general public). Parties are scheduled for two hours. You may arrive ½ hour prior to the party to set up.
Fee Information: The party cost is $150.00. This covers 25 participants. If there are more than 25 participants in the group (45 is the maximum for a party) an additional $6.00 per person is payable on the day of the party. There is no fee for children under 2. The non–refundable fee is due one month in advance of the party to hold the date and time. If the fee is not received the date will not be reserved.

Party Treats Items for favor bags and gifts for the birthday child are available thru the Museum Store. Contact Lisa Stout-Bashioum for more information.

Availability: mid-October, November and December during public hours (Fri. thru Mon.). Also the first two weekends in January. Party times start every hour—weekdays from 10-2 and Saturday and Sunday from 11-3. Tours begin at 15 minutes after the hour, every hour, and the trolley ride goes out at 35 minutes past the hour. Party Information

Bring your party group to the museum and take part in the “regular” museum tour and ride. Additional fun is available during our Bunny, Pumpkin, Santa and Trolleys and Toy Trains events. You may then do your own activities — open presents, eat food, and/or play games. Party groups may also tour the museum building, watch the video, shop in the store, and go for a second trolley ride.

Fee Information

The cost is $6 per person. No charge for those under 2.
A $35 deposit is required to hold the date and time.
